Nagoor Pitchai Transporters (NPT) was founded in 1900 and incorporated in the year of 1946 as Nagoor Pitchai Transporters (Pvt) Ltd, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The company was founded by Mr. S. M. Nagoor (late). We are highly pleased to introduce ourselves as an organization that is closely linked with other enterprises, engaged in diverse fields in shipping & logistics solutions. We have a sound knowledge and experience in the field of handling bulk cargo vessels and bulk cargo discharging operation within the port and outside the port premises as well as service sectors for more than a century. We are experts in all modes, freight forwarding, and Customs House Clearing. We strongly believe that we have a competitive advantage over others in the distribution of goods throughout Sri Lanka, registered as Shipping Agents. NPT has memberships in the Ceylon Association of Ships Agents, Road Transport Contractors and Customs House Clearing & Forwarding Agents.
